In July the temperature is similar to June in Punta Cana with a 30°C (86°F) in the middle of the day and during the night it goes down to 24°C (76°F); with the humidity the temperature might feel a couple of degrees higher.

The temperature at the surface of the sea around is around 28 degrees Celsius (82 degrees Fahrenheit). The rainfall averages 3.1 inches which is a bit lower than in June but is the norm for the rainy season that starts around May.

The UV index for this month is 11 so. The winds get a bit stronger than in June ranging from 4 to 16 mph.

This month the Punta Cana weather becomes more agitated as the hurricane season starts picking up for the Caribbean.

The temperatures in August during the day can achieve 31°C (87°F) while in the night time they can reach around 24°C (76°F). The temperature for the sea is a warm 29 degrees Celsius (84 degrees Fahrenheit).

The rainfall has an average of 4.1 inches. The UV index is 11. Winds in August ranges from 4 to 16 mph, same as July.
