Located 8 minutes far from our apartments is Playa Juanillo, one of the most beautiful beaches of white and powdery sand in the Dominican Republic. It is a beach with blue turquoise waters, immaculate sand, coconut trees and most importantly quiet and uncrowded. It is considered by many the best beach of the East Coast. If you want to relax and enjoy the beauty of a peaceful place, this is one of the beaches to visit in Cap Cana. It is a great beach to visit while vacationing with kids for its tranquillity and little waves. There are some beautiful beach restaurants at Juanillo with beach lounge sofas where you can enjoy a variety of food that satisfies all tastes. And if you decide to get there, don’t forget to take a picture next to the colorful Volkswagen van of Little John, which has become an icon of Juanillo Beach.
If you still want to enjoy beauty and peace but with a touch of adventure, Playa Blanca is the right place for you. Calmed waters and green palm trees are part of the landscape at Playa Blanca which makes it a great photo spot. This white sand exclusive beach is perfect for practicing Kitesurf, Paddle, and Windsurfing. It is also great for taking kids due to its shallow water beach area. There is also a very nice restaurant there where you can enjoy the wonders of the Caribbean cuisine. This beach is located 14 minutes far from Punta Cana Apartments.
Playa Cabeza de Toro
Going north on the shores of Punta Cana and 24 minutes away from our apartments, you will find Playa Cabeza de Toro. This is a perfect place to see the mix of tourism with the local community. You can find nice beach restaurants and small stores with souvenirs and local crafts. Also, it is surrounded by the natural forests and wildlife of Punta Cana. You can take a horseback riding excursion through the forests. If you love diving, you can visit the natural pool. Besides, you can enjoy a great postcard landscape of the tropical green palm-trees which line the white, fine sandy beach with its deep turquoise clear waters.
